I bet NZ business people are SICK of hearing this phrase from spammers that bombard us every 30 minutes from some remote location, definitely not in New Zealand. What’s the answer? How to we get around this ridiculous and unwanted assault?
—————————
Expert – what some SEO people call themselves when they can write 5 sentences about SEO and rank 240th in Google for “seo services expert”. Not to be confused with an SEO person who does in fact rank on Google’s page 1 for ‘seo services expert‘. That guy or gal is only mildly average at SEO, right?
OK, OK, so I am guilty of using the “E” word a few times myself, so yeah, I’m seriously considering if I should be divorcing myself from the word and ban it from my vocabulary. It puts me in the same box as everyone else trying to hit #1 rank or earn a decent living from SEO. But in the last year my email inbox has been pummeled buy message after message from so-called experts who don’t seem to appear anywhere in Google’s first 100 search results.
At the office, we have two lovely ladies doing telemarketing pretty much all day long. I feel so sorry for them. Just about every second call ends abruptly in a “f-off” because some poor business owner has already spent 30 minutes just this morning wading through the inbox-drivel from experts in zany multi-coloured fonts and the same half-baked English grammar.
I think it’s time for a different approach.
